This oil pastel depicts three green persimmons on a burnt sienna colored bamboo tray. This depiction is unusual, as the ripe persimmons are a gorgeous bright coral color. I mistakenly pruned a branch from the tree, but saved the unripe fruits to draw. I love their form, the stem cap is unique and unmistakable. 11” x 14” on toned paper.
